Parau VI was a planet in its final stages of existence, situated within the Mid Rim region of the galaxy. The B'ankora species, specifically those living in the B'ankor Refuge on Coruscant, the Galactic Empire's capital, were moved to Parau VI following the rise of the Empire. This displacement was done to allow for the construction of an Imperial research complex on the site of the former refuge. The dying planet became their new home.
