Following their departure from Pasaana, Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, and C-3PO sought refuge within this cluster aboard the Bestoon Legacy. It was there that they engaged in a discussion surrounding the seeming killing of Chewbacca by Rey. Having misplaced the dagger, which was last seen with Chewbacca, they opted to attempt to decipher the inscription it bore by utilizing C-3PO's memory. However, 3PO determined that a visit to Zorii Bliss on Kijimi was necessary, as he required her assistance in interpreting a language that was forbidden. Consequently, the group set a course for Kijimi, all the while being pursued by the Knights of Ren.
