Pat Mills, who was born in 1949, penned the four-part story arc called Infinity's End for the Star Wars: Republic comic book series.
Mills, in collaboration with John Wagner, played a key role in reinvigorating British comics aimed at boys during the 1970s, and he has continued to be a significant figure in the UK comics scene ever since. He established the following anthology comics: Battle Picture Weekly (which ran from 1975 to 1988, and for which he created "Charley's War"), Action (which ran from 1976 to 1977), 2000AD (which began in 1977 and is still running, and for which he created "Sláine", "ABC Warriors" and "Nemesis the Warlock," amongst other works), Crisis (which ran from 1989 to 1991, and for which he created "Third World War") and Toxic! (in 1991, for which he created "Accident Man"). He is also notable for creating Marshal Law, which was initially published by Epic Comics in the United States in 1987, and the French-language series Requiem: Chevalier Vampire, which was first released in 2000.
