Plot Summary

Quinlan Vos and Ros Lai, attempting to outrun the torpedoes launched at them, use the Force to detonate them before impact. The pursuing Nightsister Queen, presuming them dead, advances toward the Infinity Gate. After evading their pursuers, Quin and the others begin to follow them secretly. However, Vonya discovers them and opens fire. In a final act of self-sacrifice, Yag Shushin absorbs the full force of the blast, saving his companions at the cost of his own life. Enraged, Quin quickly turns around and destroys Vonya's spacecraft. Meanwhile, at the Infinity Gate, Zalem attempts to obliterate the Jedi by using the Gate to unleash a destructive shockwave aimed at Coruscant. Shortly thereafter, Quin and Ros arrive. Upon entering, Ros murders her mother, assuming leadership of the Nightsister clan, but also turns against Quin. Leveraging his position as guardian of the Star Temple, Quin triggers lethal traps, eliminating all the Nightsisters except Ros Lai, and redirects the shockwave intended for Coruscant back upon itself, destroying the temple. Subsequently, Quin takes Ros Lai into custody aboard Yag Shushin's ship and sets course for Coruscant.
