The Pesktda Xenobotanical Garden existed within the city of Pesktda on the planet called Garqi. The gardens were home to a collection of bafforr trees. During the Yuuzhan Vong assault on Garqi, local forces and the Jedi mounted a defense at this garden. The engagement concluded swiftly, however, after the bafforr trees released pollen that targeted the warriors' vonduun crab armor. In an effort to keep the Yuuzhan Vong from discovering the impact of bafforr pollen on their armor, Corran Horn gave the order to incinerate the gardens, but he was aware that it was only a question of when the Yuuzhan Vong would attack Ithor.
