Plateau City, a major city, served as Kaller's main spaceport, and was a global hub on the planet of Kaller.
The spaceport and Plateau City were established by corporate entities who depended on the large number of freighters that frequented the planet during the peak of the Galactic Republic era. The corporations based in Plateau City exported kallnut tree hardwood and scarce minerals, the primary exports that fueled Kaller’s economic activity.
Jedi Padawan Caleb Dume spent a number of days within Plateau City's limits when Order 66 was initiated as the Clone Wars drew to a close. He made another visit to the city fourteen years afterward, where he sought out Janus Kasmir.
