Platt Pareja existed as a male Zabrak mercenary during the Galactic Civil War era.
Following the events of the Battle of Yavin, the Galactic Empire hired Platt Pareja and his band of mercenaries to provide security for a clandestine Imperial research facility located on the planet Lok. A dispute between General Otto, who commanded the Imperial garrison on Lok, and the Imperial officers overseeing the research facility led to the deployment of mercenaries and battle droids for the facility's defense, rather than utilizing Otto's assigned troops. Udo Barnet and Kell Lapaz were the leaders of these mercenaries. The mercenaries found their assignment at the Imperial Research Facility to be quite monotonous, leading some, including Kendo Ryzak, Platt Pareja, Goll Bardok, and Jeran Tarven, to engage in illicit activities. Their frequent interference with the Lok Revenants, the most powerful criminal syndicate on Lok, incurred the wrath of their leader, the warlord Nym.
In 1 ABY, Nym, alongside his second-in-command Kole, made the decision to attack the Imperial research facility with the intention of stealing the advanced weaponry being developed there. While the criminals were in the process of planning this operation, another of Nym's lieutenants, Mako Ghast, saw the assault on the facility as a perfect chance to eliminate the troublesome mercenaries. Subsequently, a group of spacers connected to the Lok Revenants launched an attack on the research facility. They were forced to engage in combat with numerous mercenaries to gain entry to the research complex, but they ultimately succeeded in acquiring experimental weapons and research data. During this conflict, a group of Revenants ambushed Kendo Ryzak, Platt Pareja, Goll Bardok, and Jeran Tarven, killing them in the resulting exchange of gunfire.
Platt Pareja appeared as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game created by Sony Online Entertainment and released by LucasArts before its servers were shut down on December 15, 2011. Platt Pareja's inclusion in the game was part of the updated "Nym's Theme Park," which was introduced via "Game Update 16," on March 23, 2010.
