Master Plo Koon's lightsaber was his personal weapon, a lightsaber with a blue blade, and he was a member of the Jedi Council. As a Master, Koon employed it throughout numerous battles of the Clone Wars against the forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Koon's lightsaber's design was typical for Jedi who considered themselves sentinels.
Jedi Master Mace Windu was accompanied by Koon, along with Windu's assault team, on a mission to rescue Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, his apprentice Anakin Skywalker, and Naboo Senator Padmé Amidala from an assassination attempt at the Petranaki Arena located on Geonosis. There, he fought against the Separatist Droid Army using his lightsaber.
As a Jedi General during the Clone Wars, Koon continued to use his lightsaber. During the Battle of Abregado and during the rescue of Adi Gallia, he wielded it to great effect.
