The Poletecs inhabiting Skako Minor, a primitive people, communicated using a language markedly distinct from Galactic Basic Standard. During a rescue mission to the planet, Jedi General Anakin Skywalker along with Clone Captain Rex and the "Bad Batch", also known as Clone Force 99, encountered a brief period of disagreement with the Poletecs. This disagreement stemmed from the reluctance of a chief from that species to have their war waged on his world. Skywalker, after being abducted by the chief, observed that dialogue would prove challenging given his unfamiliarity with the Poletecs' language and their lack of comprehension of Galactic Basic Standard. Nevertheless, upon Rex and the Bad Batch's arrival to assist Skywalker, Tech, a member of Force 99, utilized his visor to facilitate translation between the two groups via their respective written forms, thereby enabling them to reach an understanding.
