Porg Stowaway

The Porg Stowaway was a male porg originating from the ancient planet of Ahch-To. This porg, along with a minimum of three others, secretly boarded the Millennium Falcon before the Battle of Crait. As the battle unfolded, the stowaway interfered with Chewbacca's piloting, leading to an incident where Chewbacca brushed him aside with his arm. Following the conflict on Crait, the stowaway observed vulptices fleeing from the cave that sheltered Resistance forces.

Later, the porg observed the Resistance members aboard the Falcon and sat alongside Rey as she attempted to decipher the Sacred Jedi texts.

Behind the scenes

The Porg Stowaway made its initial appearance in the trailer promoting the 2017 movie Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi, which is the second film in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. During a Q&A session with Collider, director Rian Johnson of The Last Jedi was asked by an audience member about the Porg Stowaway's name. He redirected the question to the fan, who proposed the name "Terbus." In response to the fan's suggestion, Johnson stated, "[[Pablo Hidalgo|Pablo Hidalgo], if you're listening to this livestream, that porg's name is now Terbus." Pablo Hidalgo, in turn, suggested that Chewbacca had named the porg "Han." A porg by the name of Terbus subsequently appeared in the 2019 comic book Star Wars Adventures (2017) 27.
