Publitechnic, a manufacturer of droids, was operating within the galaxy around 22 BBY. Among its products were repair droids such as the CLE-004 window cleaning droid and the INS-444. The CLE-004, utilizing repulsorlifts, specialized in cleaning windows, while the INS-444 was designed to replace damaged or faulty windows. These droids, working in tandem, played a significant role in maintaining and cleaning the infrastructure of cities throughout the galaxy. Even Coruscant, the planet serving as the capital of the Galactic Republic, adopted droids manufactured by Publitechnic.
