Pysk Lila, a female Mon Calamari, held the rank of captain within the Mon Cala Mercantile Fleet. She commanded the Star Cruiser known as the Aurora Flare.
Serving the Mon Cala Mercantile Fleet, Pysk Lila was a Mon Calamari female who was the captain in charge of the Star Cruiser Aurora Flare. Upon hearing about the death of King Lee-Char in 1 ABY, the Mercantile Fleet, which was positioned above the planet Mon Cala, initiated a rebellion against the Imperial personnel stationed on their ships. During this uprising, Lila killed a stormtrooper by bludgeoning them with their own helmet. Soon after, the Empire established a blockade around the planet. However, as the Empire commenced its strategy to quell the Mon Cala resistance, a fleet of rebel vessels, under the command of Admiral Gial Ackbar, materialized from hyperspace after Regent Dors Urtya had contacted them.
To attempt a break through the blockade, Ackbar reached out to Lila on the Aurora Flare, requesting her to volunteer her ship and its crew for a suicide mission. Lila bravely accepted the challenge. Ackbar instructed her to direct the Aurora Flare, laden with a full cargo of coaxium from the Redhurne system, toward the Star Destroyer under the command of Admiral Tyrus Meori.
As the ship advanced toward the enemy vessel, Lila stood firm on the ship's bridge, receiving reports from her crew about the weakening shields. As the Aurora Flare closed in, Admiral Meori ordered an immediate identification check of the approaching vessel. Upon discovering the ship's cargo, he urgently commanded his crew to cease fire. However, it was too late to prevent the collision. Lila's ship crashed into the Star Destroyer, causing extensive damage and resulting in the destruction of the Aurora Flare, killing Lila and all of her crew members.
Due to Lila's sacrifice, the rebels and twelve Mon Cala cruisers were able to flee to the rebel's Mako-Ta Base.
