The Quintad, alternatively called the Eriadu High Council, the High Council, or the Ruling Council, consisted of a council formed by the five governing families of the planet Eriadu, including the Tarkin family. The Quintad convened inside Seswenna Hall, located in Eriadu City. For any non-Eriaduan to speak before the council, recognition from a minimum of two Quintad members was necessary. Following the engulfment of Eriadu by the Nihil pirates' Occlusion Zone during the High Republic Era, the Quintad held a meeting.
