During the time of the Galactic War, which was a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the re-established Sith Empire, the Dread Masters, who had become renegades after their defeat on Denova, brought back their servant Kephess from the dead. They then deployed him along with a mixed army to seize the Gree planet of Asation, focusing specifically on capturing the Grand Hypergate. The Dread Masters then proceeded to pull out many strange and supernatural beings from the Hypergate, leading the Gree to request assistance from both of the major galactic factions, who sent teams to fight against the Dread Master's schemes.
The Asation raid is an operation designed for 8 to 16 players in the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic. Its initial release was with "Game Update 1.4: Terror From Beyond", which launched on September 26, 2012.
