A railspeeder, also called a rail speeder, was a type of speeder that moved by connecting to a ground-level rail. On the moon of Zardossa Stix, several of these rail speeders existed. They had the capability to transport people between Zardossa Stix Port and the Temple of Malmourral. In 19 BBY, members of the Frangawl Cult utilized these rail speeders to transport their captive Queen Julia to the Temple for a sacrificial offering to Malmourral. The cultists used the speeders in an attempt to evade capture by Jedi Master Mace Windu and Junior Representative Jar Jar Binks, who were pursuing them. Rail speeders were also used outside of the Citadel Tower located on Scarif.
