Rampa II

Rampa II, also referred to as Rampa, was a celestial body located within the Corporate Sector of the Outer Rim Territories. It was connected to Panna in the Cronese Mandate via the Bubble Wink hyperlane used by smugglers. Maz Kanata, the former pirate Queen, identified it as a notable location on a navigational chart she placed within the book that would come to be known as the Smuggler's Guide.

History

Between the years of 10 BBY and 3 ABY, Han Solo and Chewbacca collaborated with the Briil Twins to smuggle hundreds of bottles of R'alla mineral water to the inhabitants of Rampa II. Solo's intention was to earn sufficient credits to remove them from the Red List and evade their creditors.

Subsequently, the pair were apprehended in the Rampa Rapids and subsequently incarcerated on Rampa II. Later, Sana Starros, a smuggler seeking to retrieve the possessions of her husband Han Solo and his co-pilot Chewbacca, offered a bribe to 373-CR, a customs agent working for the Rampa II Port Authority. This bribe secured the approval of Starros's merchandise claim, enabling her to acquire the equipment, including the book titled the Smuggler's Guide, in which Starros documented the act of bribing the agent.

Behind the scenes

The initial mention of Rampa II occurred in the 2018 reference work, Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide, authored by Daniel Wallace. The entry in the Smuggler's Guide that references this world primarily retells the events portrayed in the Legends novel Han Solo's Revenge, penned by Brian Daley and published in 1979.
