The Senate Planetary Intelligence Network (SPIN) of the New Republic included a special group known as the Rapid Response Team. This team was intended for covert missions and consisted of famous individuals: Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa Solo, Han Solo, and Lando Calrissian. Due to the notoriety of its members, the unit's effectiveness was less than anticipated. Ultimately, SPIN was dissolved, and the New Republic Intelligence Service absorbed its assets.
