Raskurro, a Hutt, held a position within the Hutt Cartel during the Galactic War. This conflict saw the Galactic Republic in opposition to the reconstituted Sith Empire.
The Hutt Cartel had captured Combo, a thief sought after by Rogun the Butcher, a crime lord, by the year 3642 BBY. Raskurro was in the process of arranging Combo's delivery to Strilth, Rogun's Houk second-in-command. However, their transaction was disrupted by a smuggler working with the Galactic Republic, and Vaz Traniff, Combo's captain. The smuggler persuaded Raskurro that an alliance with them was preferable to working with Rogun, after which Raskurro abandoned them to contend with Strilth for Combo's fate.
Subsequently, Raskurro reached out to the smuggler to offer an apology from the Hutt Cartel regarding the events that transpired.
