In the fifth year of Emperor Palpatine's reign, this rank was held by Kendal Ozzel, Tiaan Jerjerrod, in addition to Conan Antonio Motti. Although Orson Krennic aspired to the rank of Rear Admiral, he instead received a promotion from Lieutenant Commander up to Commander.
