A male Rodian gangster, Reelo Baruk, hailed from the notorious Nar Shaddaa.

Back in 1 ABY, Baruk found himself employed by Jabba Desilijic Tiure on Tatooine. Stationed within the walls of Jabba's Palace, his duties revolved around recruiting spacers for the purpose of eliminating Jabba's adversaries, such as the Alkhara Bandits or the Valarians. During this time, he also made contact with a spacer from the local area to handle Jabba's issues with the Sand People.
Eventually, Baruk relocated to Nar Shaddaa, where he established a bar and simultaneously launched his own criminal enterprise. While most individuals perceived him as merely the leader of a local garbage-hauling company, this perception was far from the truth. He dedicated considerable effort to maintaining a low profile regarding his illicit activities. His henchmen, representing a diverse array of alien species, were notorious as some of the galaxy's most deplorable individuals in the galaxy. Despite not being a Hutt himself, he ascended to become one of the most esteemed crime lords within Hutt Space, skillfully concealing his operations to such an extent that even New Republic Intelligence regarded him as a legitimate businessman.
In the period leading up to 12 ABY, the New Republic lacked any evidence implicating Baruk in criminal activities, suggesting a transition to legitimate business ventures. He managed a company specializing in garbage hauling and disposal, successfully registering it with the Republic, a feat that would establish him as the sole legitimate businessman on Nar Shadda.
During the Empire Reborn crisis, he struck a bargain with the Dark Jedi Desann, and former Baron Administrator Lando Calrissian reported some vague criminal activity in his former City, but his pleas were ignored by the Senate, and New Republic Intelligence Service found nothing about his claims. Eventually Baruk's company started serving the Cloud City on Bespin--a curious move since the City always recycled its garbage for fuel. In reality he was supplying the Imperial Remnant with thugs for a takeover of the carbonite freezing chambers on Bespin.

While looking for him on Nar Shaddaa, Kyle Katarn located Lando Calrissian being held captive by Baruk and ultimately confronted the crime lord himself. Baruk succeeded in trapping him within a room heavily fortified with autoturrets, but the Jedi managed to escape and liberate Lando.
As Katarn and Calrissian prepared to depart from Nar Shaddaa, Baruk launched an assault on the pair, accompanied by a contingent of mercenaries. Employing his thugs, the criminal mastermind managed to infiltrate the Lady Luck, only to witness their demise at the hands of Katarn. With the ship poised for departure, a malfunction occurred, prompting Reelo, along with more of his thugs, to launch a desperate offensive, with Baruk utilizing a gun platform. However, Katarn swiftly commandeered the ship's laser turret and neutralized all assailants, including Baruk.
Reelo's initial appearance was as one of the primary antagonists in Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, where Kevin Michael Richardson provided his voice. Subsequently, Reelo made an appearance in Star Wars Galaxies, functioning as the entry point for the Jabba The Hutt questline.
