This organization, headquartered on the Republic's capital planet of Coruscant, selected a new temporary leader in 3642 BBY—a physician who had successfully created a remedy for the mild flesh-eating illness called Zabrak Scalp Necrosis. This selection was met with derision by Archiban Kimble, a former peer of the doctor, because the appointee's lack of medical competence and limited intellect were well-known during their period at the medical school of the University of Coruscant, specifically the First Republic Medical Academy of Coruscant.
The Administration initially appeared in the 2011 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic, a collaboration between BioWare and LucasArts. Its mention occurred during the "Opportunity Knocks" dialogue with Archiban Kimble, the Jedi Knight's companion character, referred to as "Doc" within the game.
