Rio Hackford, an American actor and proprietor of nightclubs, died on April 14, 2022. He played Riot Mar in the fifth installment of The Mandalorian within the Star Wars universe, and contributed motion capture for IG-11 across three episodes.
Beyond Star Wars, his acting credits encompass Jonah Hex, a recurring part in Treme, and a notable on-screen feud as Sue against Patrick Van Horn in Swingers, which featured Jon Favreau. He also had roles in American Crime Story and Pretty Woman. In addition to acting, Hackford owned numerous clubs throughout America, including establishments in San Francisco, New Orleans, and Los Angeles.
He died at 51 years old on April 14, 2022.
