Rogue CorSec Base

The Rogue CorSec Base, alternatively known as a Rogue CorSec encampment or Rogue Island, functioned as a base of operations. This base was situated on an island of Corellia, a world within the Core systems, during the era of the Galactic Civil War. Before the Battle of Yavin, specifically in 0 BBY, former CorSec officers, who had been disgraced, seized the abandoned island and its pre-existing CorSec base. They used it as a hub for their activities, including thuggery, extortion, and acts of violence. These Rogues also utilized the base's defensive systems to engage in combat with their former colleagues in CorSec, who were relentlessly pursuing them.

History

Another view of the Rogue CorSec base

Following the Battle of Yavin, individuals campaigning across Corellia in support of Karin Featherlight, a Twi'lek politician, stumbled upon the cave. Subsequently, Featherlight uploaded the coordinates of the Rogue CorSec base onto a spacers datapad. Furthermore, a CorSec agent loyal to the organization, fueled by resentment towards the Rogue CorSec's betrayal, tasked a spacer with the mission of locating the base and exacting revenge upon the traitors.

In 1 ABY, a spacer, working under the direction of CorSec Lieutenant Mack Jasper, managed to infiltrate the base. The objective was to uncover evidence proving that the Rogue CorSec was orchestrating a conspiracy to overthrow Diktat Daclif Gallamby. The spacer then proceeded to eliminate Hiram Bish and Mtara Vinram, the Rogue CorSec commanders who were at the helm of the aforementioned plot.

During that same year, Bruce McBrain, an associate of Jabba the Hutt, dispatched a spacer to the Rogue CorSec Base with the intention of acquiring the destruction code sequences for a CorSec Corellian Corvette. Simultaneously, a Rebel operative, dispatched by Master Sergeant Crowley, infiltrated the base. The mission was to retrieve confidential Imperial documents that had been purloined by the Rogue CorSec.
