Roth-Del Masona, a male Human from the Legends continuity, achieved the rank of Jedi Master within the Jedi Order. He served during the Clone Wars, a conflict that occurred in the twilight years of the Galactic Republic. During those turbulent times, Masona was assigned as the adjutant to Mace Windu, a former Master of the Order and fellow Jedi Master.

From a young age, Roth-Del Masona exhibited signs of being Force-sensitive. Consequently, he was brought to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant by the Jedi Order to receive training in the Force. As a student at the Temple's academy, Masona demonstrated great potential, eventually becoming a Padawan after successfully completing his last academy tests. Following years of personalized instruction from a Jedi Master and the construction of his own blue lightsaber, Masona faced the Trials of Knighthood. Upon passing these trials, the Jedi High Council elevated him to the rank of Jedi Knight.
As the Separatist Crisis intensified between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Masona found himself stationed on Coruscant. It was there that Master Mace Windu assembled a task force with the mission of rescuing Obi-Wan Kenobi, a captured Jedi sentenced to execution by the Confederacy. Also slated for execution were Senator Padmé Amidala and Jedi Padawan Anakin Skywalker. Upon arriving on the arid planet of Geonosis, Masona and his fellow Jedi launched an assault on the Petranaki arena, successfully freeing their comrades, although many Jedi perished in the attempt. As the Separatist Droid Army encircled the survivors and Count Dooku, the leader of the Confederacy, ordered the droids to open fire, Grand Master Yoda arrived with the Grand Army of the Republic to evacuate the remaining Jedi. Aboard a Republic gunship and leading a squad of clone troopers on the planet's surface, Masona participated in the first battle of the Clone Wars.
After returning to the Temple on Coruscant, Masona accepted the rank of General within the Grand Army, as well as the position of adjutant to Master Windu. He fought valiantly throughout the three-year conflict. Jedi Master Masona was on Coruscant when General Grievous, the commander of the Separatist fleet, emerged from hyperspace above Galactic City. Masona, alongside Jedi Masters Roron Corobb, Foul Moudama, and B'ink Utrila, was tasked with assisting Masters Shaak Ti and Stass Allie in safeguarding the Supreme Chancellor. As the Republic fought to defend its capital during the battle, Masona and his team escorted Chancellor Palpatine to a secure bunker beneath Coruscant's surface. While Master Shaak Ti defended the entrance to the bunker, Grievous infiltrated the facility unnoticed and engaged the four Jedi protecting Palpatine in a lightsaber duel. Despite Masona's renowned skill as a duelist, particularly his mastery of Ataru, Grievous managed to decapitate him, making him the first casualty of the encounter. In the heat of battle, Jedi Roron Corobb inadvertently kicked Masona's head, distracting him long enough for Grievous to dispatch him and the remaining defenders.
Leonard Thomas played Roth-Del Masona in Attack of the Clones, with the name "Masona" being a tuckerization of Thomas's last name.
Although unnamed in Labyrinth of Evil, the Jedi who defended the Supreme Chancellor was later retconned to be Masona, as indicated by his mention in Unknown Soldier: The Story of General Grievous. His appearance in Labyrinth of Evil creates a contradiction with the events as depicted in the Star Wars: Clone Wars television series.
