Ruku Myal was a male Sith Saber belonging to the Lost Tribe of Sith, situated on Kesh; his gender was male. Myal, a close comrade of Gavar Khai, took part in an attack targeting a Damorian S18 light freighter around 41.5 ABY.
Having risen to the rank of Sith Master, Myal later found himself among the Sith survivors who aligned with Abeloth. In 44 ABY, during the Jedi infiltration of Coruscant, he adopted the guise of a Sergeant within Galactic Alliance Security, leading a soldier patrol. At a levtrain station, he spotted former Sith apprentice Vestara Khai alongside Ben Skywalker among the infiltrators. Grand Master Luke Skywalker diverted Myal's attention from Khai by damaging an overhead hologram displaying BAMR News reporter Kayala Fei, who was a Sith infiltrator. As Myal prepared to strike Luke Skywalker, he was pulled toward him during a midjump. Myal activated his lightsaber, inadvertently revealing himself as a Jedi (the only ones known to wield lightsabers at that time), and lunged at Skywalker, attempting to behead him. Skywalker, unarmed, evaded Myal's attack. Khai then capitalized on Myal's distraction, using Myal's own shikkar to fatally stab him near the heart, resulting in a painful death. Subsequently, Luke Skywalker slightly shifted fragments of the broken shikkar blade into Myal's heart, causing his immediate death.
