Desert of Salma

The extensive desert region on the Forest Moon, referred to as both the Desert of Salma and the Salma Sands, was a desolate and unforgiving landscape. Characterized by its dryness, sterility, and numerous caustic and corrosive water features, the desert was contained by towering mountain chains. The Ewoks, one of the sentient species that were native to the moon, generally steered clear of this area, as it was frequently inhabited by enormous Goraxes.
