Samara the Blue was a Jedi of the female persuasion, and she dedicated herself to the service of the Jedi Order on Genetia. This took place at some point preceding the age known as the High Republic Era. While there, Samara took notice of, and subsequently documented, the empathic abilities demonstrated by Force-sensitive humans native to Genetia. These writings would eventually be reviewed by Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh, as she was attempting to assist her Padawan, Imri Cantaros, a Genetian himself, in mastering his own powers.
