"Scary Starship" is a LEGO animated short film, considered non-canon, that was released online as a segment of the LEGO STAR WARS: Celebrate the Season webseries on September 15, 2021.
Boba Fett's starship is the location for a decorating showdown as Boba and the Mandalorian attempt to outdo one another with increasingly bizarre and spooky designs. Boba Fett, Din Djarin, accompanied by Fennec Shand, approach the Slave I. As Halloween nears, they've adorned the ship's exterior with numerous bat-shaped ornaments. Djarin then uses his jetpack to paint the Slave I. Fett finds Djarin's artwork amusing.
In retaliation, Fett covers the Slave I with a tarp and pilots the ship in a manner that mimics a ghost. While everyone is laughing, the tarp ignites during takeoff. After exiting the cockpit, Fett throws several pumpkins into the air. Djarin shoots holes in them, creating makeshift eyes and mouths, and then illuminates them. Fett chuckles, and the competition escalates.
Djarin then wraps a giant toilet paper roll around the ship, transforming the Slave I into a mummy-like figure. However, Fett unwinds the roll, causing Djarin to bump his head on the canopy. Fett then decorates the Slave I with fake spider webs, ensnaring Djarin. Djarin uses his flamethrower to free himself. As the two Mandalorians are preoccupied with their contest, Shand secretly flies away with the ship.
Later, Fett and Djarin find solace in roasting marshmallows over a fire. Shand returns, having attached several stormtrooper helmets to the ship's hull and exhaust system. The sight of the stormtrooper helmets on the exhaust vents frightens Fett and Djarin.
