Science droid

A depiction of a droid designed for scientific purposes. Droids designed for science constituted a category of droid. During the Clone Wars, both the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order made use of a model of science and medical droid that hovered and possessed four limbs. A humanoid science droid, the RH-series research droid, was created by Cybot Galactica as a modification of their 2R-series medical droid; this droid was functional during the time of the Galactic Civil War.
