Seismic pulse emitter

The seismic pulse emitter, alternatively referred to as the seismic charge emitter, was a piece of technology utilized by the Wookiee people residing on the moon of Alaris Prime. This usage began after the colonization of the moon, which occurred between the years of 39 BBY and 36 BBY. The Wookiees employed the native maru creatures of the moon as mounts for war, outfitting them with harnesses that incorporated two bowcasters along with a seismic pulse emitter.

During the invasion of Alaris Prime by the Confederacy of Independent Systems in 22 BBY, Jedi Padawan Anakin Skywalker and smuggler Bera Kazan formed an alliance with the Wookiees. The Wookiees had been utilizing the maru to avoid the Separatists. Skywalker and Kazan each rode a maru to sneak into a Separatist outpost. They used their bowcasters and seismic charge emitters to eliminate battle droids and gnasps they encountered. Alongside several Wookiees, they also used maru and seismic charge emitters to defend a Wookiee village from a Separatist attack.

Behind the scenes

The first appearance of seismic charge emitters was in the 2002 video game titled Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
