Shadda-Bi-Boran, a planet, was situated in the Outer Rim Territories of the galaxy, specifically within the Toblain sector. By the year 228 BBY, it found itself inside the Occlusion Zone, a region created by the Nihil marauders. The planet's sun was nearing its end in 39 BBY. A relief mission, including Padmé Amidala, her father Ruwee Naberrie, and Onaconda Farr, journeyed to the world and successfully evacuated its entire population. Sadly, the evacuees were unable to survive elsewhere, as they couldn't properly replicate the unique environment of Shadda-Bi-Boran, and ultimately died. In 28 BBY, Amidala recounted her visit to the planet and her efforts to aid its people to Senator Rush Clovis.
The initial mention of Shadda-Bi-Boran in the new Star Wars canon occurred on a map featured in the StarWars.com article Where in the Galaxy Are the Worlds of Star Wars: The Force Awakens? from 2016.
Within Star Wars Legends, Shadda-Bi-Boran was first referenced in the novelization of Attack of the Clones. It was also intended to be mentioned in the movie itself, but the line where it was originally named was rewritten at the last minute, and the scene was then completely removed.
