A celestial body, specifically a star, was located in the Outer Rim Territories, and the planet Shadda-Bi-Boran revolved around it. As the star began to die in 39 BBY, the inhabitants of Shadda-Bi-Boran were evacuated by a team of rescuers that featured Padmé Naberrie, her father Ruwee from Naboo, and Onaconda Farr. Sadly, the evacuees required specific nutrients from their sun, which were impossible to duplicate elsewhere, leading to their demise when Shadda-Bi-Boran's original environment could not be recreated.
The star associated with Shadda-Bi-Boran was initially referenced canonically in Queen's Shadow, a novel released in 2019 and authored by E. K. Johnston. Concerning the Star Wars Legends timeline, the star called Shadda was initially brought up in the "Padmé's Bedroom" deleted scene from the 2002 movie Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, and it received a name in the 2009 sourcebook, The Essential Atlas.
