Shobbo Durron was a Corellia-based Human female electronics engineer during the Galactic Civil War time period.
After the Battle of Yavin which occurred in 0 BBY, she innovated an efficient and cost-effective power cell design. However, the owner of Pendretronics, Kazic Pendre, stole her design notes and schematics, leaving her with nothing. Consequently, she employed a spacer to retrieve her stolen intellectual property, intending to use it to launch her own enterprise. The spacer infiltrated Pendretronics headquarters, successfully hacked Kazic Pendre's data terminal, and returned the stolen data to Shobbo Durron. Concurrently, the Corellian Security Force killed Kazic Pendre after discovering his involvement with the criminal syndicate known as the Chirq Council.
Shobbo Durron appeared as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and released by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. Shobbo Durron was introduced to the game through the "Chapter 1: The Corellian Captives" update, which went live on June 8, 2006.
