Kazic Pendre was a male Human entrepreneur and lawbreaker who resided on the planet of Corellia during the Galactic Civil War time period.
Following the Battle of Yavin, Kazic Pendre had become the proprietor of Pendretronics, an engineering firm situated in Doaba Guerfel. In addition to his legitimate business dealings, Pendre also held a prominent position within the criminal syndicate called the Chirq Council. Within this group, Kazic Pendre commanded a number of subordinates, including Trins Evnar, and answered only to the second-in-command, Jzoro Quanera.
In the year 1 ABY, the Corellian Security Force commenced an investigation into the Chirq Council as a result of the increased ryll trade on Corellia. Captain Vitala Baize made the decision to infiltrate the organization by using a CorSec agent who would assume the identity of Pendre's minion, Trins Evnar. To facilitate this infiltration mission, an independent spacer who had previously worked for the CorSec assassinated Trins Evnar, along with all other Chirq Council criminals who knew him, Kazic Pendre included. The CorSec agent then took on Evnar's identity when dealing with the underboss, Jzoro Quanera, and successfully infiltrated the organization. The CorSec operation ultimately resulted in the downfall of the Chirq Council.
Around this same period, an engineer named Shobbo Durron created a power cell that was more efficient and potentially less expensive to produce than existing models. Shortly before his demise, Kazic Pendre pilfered Durron's design notes and her schematic for his own company, Pendretronics. Shobbo Durron subsequently hired a spacer to retrieve her power cell schematic from Pendre. The spacer broke into the Pendretronics headquarters and hacked into Kazic Pendre's data terminal, successfully recovering the data.
Kazic Pendre was a non-player character featured in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts, prior to its termination on December 15, 2011. Kazic Pendre was integrated into the game with the update titled "Chapter 1: The Corellian Captives," which was released on June 8, 2006.
