Jzoro Quanera

Jzoro Quanera, a male Human crime lord, held the position of underboss within the Chirq Council. He operated on Corellia during the tumultuous times of the Galactic Civil War.

Biography

Subsequent to the Battle of Yavin, Jzoro Quanera functioned as an underboss for the Chirq Council. His responsibilities encompassed the oversight of all illicit operations conducted by the Chirq Council, particularly the trade of spice, in and around the city of Doaba Guerfel. His base of operations was a fortified bunker situated near Doaba Guerfel. Among those who reported to him was Kazic Pendre, a businessman who managed the Chirq Council's cell operating within Doaba Guerfel.

During 1 ABY, the Corellian Security Force initiated an investigation targeting the Chirq Council due to a surge in the traffic of ryll on Corellia. Captain Vitala Baize made the decision to infiltrate the criminal organization. To do this, she used a CorSec operative who would assume the identity of Trins Evnar, a Chirq Council member working under Kazic Pendre in Doaba Guerfel. An independent spacer, who had previously collaborated with the CorSec, was employed to eliminate Trins Evnar, along with all other Chirq Council criminals who knew him, including Kazic Pendre. Since Jzoro Quanera lacked personal familiarity with Trins Evnar, the CorSec agent adopted Evnar's persona and successfully gained the underboss's confidence. The spacer fabricated a story about Kazic Pendre's sudden disappearance, which served as the pretext for seeking out Quanera. Consequently, the CorSec agent became part of Quanera's organization and began working directly for him.

Jzoro's Bunker.

Concurrently, Jzoro Quanera was actively pursuing a cooperative arrangement between the Chirq Council and another criminal syndicate known as the Monumenters. His goal was to expand the Chirq Council's capacity for spice distribution. For the spacer's first assignment, Quanera instructed him to attend a meeting between representatives of the Chirq Council and the Monumenters. However, the spacer instead eliminated all the participants at the meeting and seized several crates of spice for the CorSec. The spacer then falsely claimed that the Monumenters had betrayed the Chirq Council and absconded with the spice. As the spacer was the only survivor of the incident, Quanera had no choice but to accept this version of events. For a subsequent mission, the underboss tasked the spacer with locating and eliminating an informant who had been providing the CorSec with intelligence about the Chirq Council. The informant was Lilith Laughlin, the very woman who had facilitated the spacer's infiltration of the Chirq Council. Instead of killing Lilith, the spacer murdered another woman, Ebela Puckett, a Grey Shroud terrorist. Captain Baize then fabricated evidence to suggest that the terrorist had been working for the CorSec. Once again, Jzoro Quanera was deceived and believed the agent's deception. Having gained the underboss's complete trust, the spacer was granted unrestricted access to Jzoro Quanera's bunker, including its database. From Quanera's database, the CorSec was able to identify the nine elite councilors who governed the Chirq Council and discover the locations of their secret headquarters. Subsequently, the CorSec launched assaults on the First and Second Elite Council Bunkers, eliminating all of the elite councilors. With their leadership decimated, the Chirq Council rapidly dissolved into fragmented factions.
