Biography

Shodon Ko was killed and devoured by Ssk Kahorr.

Employed by the Navigators' Guild, which was associated with the Galactic Republic, Shodon Ko was a male bureaucrat stationed on the planet of Koros Major. In the year 5000 BBY, he sanctioned the use of the Goluud Corridor, a hazardous yet shorter hyperspace route that had been discovered by the explorers Gav and Jori Daragon. Because this newly-charted course passed dangerously close to the volatile red supergiant known as Primus Goluud, Ko classified the Goluud Corridor as high-risk, which deterred many of the Guild's clients from utilizing it. Nevertheless, Ssk Kahorr, a Cha'a merchant lord, decided to take the risk and dispatched his drone ship, the Zeta Five, through the Goluud Corridor.

After this decision, Ko then informed Gav Daragon that the Guild would give him a sizable monetary incentive. However, Zeta Five was obliterated, along with its entire cargo, when solar flares erupted from Primus Goluud. Enraged by the destruction of his ship, Kahorr resolved to kill those who had been involved in both mapping and approving the risky route. Kahorr then murdered and devoured Ko, finding him old and tough, before setting out to kill the Daragons. The remains of Ko were soon discovered, in a scene described as "nasty" by Kahorr's thugs.
