This conflict, a war, unfolded in a distant galaxy, pitting the Silentium against the Abominor, both of which were droid species.
Ages ago, the Silentium were crafted by a star-shaped organics species to mirror their own forms, much like humanoid beings fashion bipedal droids. Although a radiation storm originating from a supernova obliterated the organic creators, their droid creations persisted. These droids evolved, replicated, and cultivated a culture rooted in the prime numbers five, seven, and eleven.

Many adopted geometric shapes, with the circle deemed the most sacred. The droid race's most intelligent individuals, numbering in the thousands, constructed formidable spheroid bodies spanning fifty kilometers. The One and The Other were two notable members of this colossal group, while the remaining entities were known collectively as The Rest. However, this culture of symmetry and order faced a challenge from the Abominor, self-assembling droids driven by a thirst for dominance.
The two factions engaged in a galactic-scale war until the emergence of the Yuuzhan Vong, a native organic species of the galaxy, who forced the droid species into exile.
The animosity between the Silentum and the Abominor is heavily suggested as the fundamental reason for the Yuuzhan Vong's aversion to technology. This was later substantiated in the blog entry titled The Droids Re-Animated.
