During the era of the New Sith Wars, different Sith groups, including the Daimanate, the Odionate, and the Brotherhood of Darkness, deployed a redesigned type of Sith troopers.
Subsequent to the rise of Darth Ruin and his Sith Empire amidst the New Sith Wars, Sith troopers saw action around or after 2000 BBY. These troopers bore resemblance to the troopers with the same designation who served the Sith Empire during the Jedi Civil War, alongside the Imperial soldiers utilized by Darth Vitiate's Sith Empire. Sith Lord Daiman employed troopers as the primary infantry force of the Daimanate. In the final decade of the New Sith Wars, during Darth Bane's time, the Brotherhood of Darkness utilized Sith troopers as their main infantry strength in both ground and space battles. These forces consisted of impoverished or hopeless individuals who believed the Republic had forsaken them, as well as mercenaries and bounty hunters recruited to participate in the conflicts.
