The Skirmish at Merisee was a conflict fought at the location of Merisee. It pitted the Galactic Empire against rebel fighters sometime before the ambush at the Zavian Abyss during the Galactic Civil War. Battlegroup Echelon of the Imperial Navy participated in this engagement. During the fight, the admiral's flagship was seized and their supply routes were cut off. Nevertheless, the surviving elements of the battle group regrouped, repelled the opposing forces, conducted repairs while surrounded by enemies, and initiated a recovery operation. Ultimately, Battlegroup Echelon triumphed over the rebel opposition and secured a win.
