In response, the Galactic Empire deployed a variety of its military assets, including AT-ST walkers, standard stormtroopers, fast scout troopers, stealthy shadow troopers, explosive Demolition Troopers, and elite Imperial shock troopers, with the objective of engaging the landed rebels. Simultaneously, Admiral Gial Ackbar made his entrance aboard an MC80 Star Cruiser, commencing an engagement with an Imperial-class Star Destroyer.
Ultimately, the Imperial ground contingent suffered defeat. Subsequently, a squadron of T-65B X-wing starfighters descended from the skies, initiating an attack on the retreating stormtrooper forces. Adding to the Empire's woes, the Star Destroyer met its end by crashing onto the surface of the planet.
