General Skylast was a male Human who fought for the Galactic Republic during the era of the Galactic War. Approximately in 3641 BBY, he found himself stationed at the Belsavis prison on the planet Belsavis. There, he took charge of organizing the defense of the Maximum Security Section when the Esh-kha launched an attack. He assigned a Republic citizen the mission of attacking critical Esh-kha strategic locations, and subsequently gave counsel regarding the World Razer. The citizen demonstrated their capabilities, and both the Esh-kha and the World Razer were stopped from escaping the planet.
At a later point, Republic Marshall Kay Cavarat reached out to him, requesting that he dispatch troops to capture the crime lord known as Ivory, a request he happily fulfilled.
