Biography

Sliv Jurek existed as a male individual within the galaxy during the period of the Galactic Civil War. At a point in time after the Battle of Yavin, he could be found on the planet of Tatooine, where he was an employee of Jabba Desilijic Tiure, a Hutt crime lord. While working within Jabba's organization, Jurek had an electronic key that served to unlock entry into a warehouse that contained a Rantok sword, the traditional weapon of the Unfyr warriors. Jabba the Hutt desired to display the sword on the wall of his palace, and as such, he instructed his translator droid, G-5PO to find someone to deliver a case filled with a substantial amount of credits to Jurek in order to acquire the key.

At some point after Jabba became aware of the existence of the key, G-5PO contracted a spacer to transport the credits to Jurek. Shortly thereafter, Jurek exchanged the key for the credits with the spacer.
