Smoking

A hookah pipe is being smoked by Jabba the Hutt. Smoking was the term used for the leisure activity of inhaling a substance. Various smoking tools existed for smokers, including pipes and shishas.

Back in 32 BBY, Watto, a Toydarian merchant, possessed a shisha in his junkshop, which featured a hidden underground system of oil pipes to supply the shisha. Later, in 4 ABY, Jabba, a Hutt gangster, indulged in a hookah pipe, characterized by a long, bendable tube connected to a glass container filled with liquid. During the same year, members of the Bright Tree tribe, Ewok inhabitants of the moon of Endor, also made use of pipes.
