The Smuggler's Run, an asteroid belt, existed within the Outer Rim Territories along the Corellian Run, in proximity to the planet Wrea. During the time of the Galactic Civil War, Imperial TIEs, identifiable by their blue markings, maintained a patrol over the Smuggler's Run. Their mission was to halt freighters thought to be transporting prohibited goods. Pilots failing to comply with Imperial boarding requests faced immediate destruction.
