Biography
Sora Mobari, a female Human with sensitivity to the Force, underwent training in the ways of the Force under the guidance of the Jedi Order. She progressed to the rank of Jedi Master and chose Evan-Ott as the Padawan she would mentor. During the Clone Wars in 21 BBY, Mobari and her apprentice were dispatched to the planet of Ithor to spearhead an assault on Ithorian terrorists. Regrettably, Evan-Ott turned against Mobari and attempted to murder her by detonating an explosive. While the explosion resulted in Evan-Ott's demise, it also caused severe injuries to Mobari, resulting in the loss of her eyesight.
The Jedi Master was then transported to a Republic medical facility on New Holstice. There, A'Sharad Hett, a Jedi stationed on the planet, exhausted every possible treatment option in an attempt to save Mobari. However, his efforts proved futile, and Hett came to the conclusion that she was beyond recovery. He then requested that Anakin Skywalker, a Jedi Padawan, alleviate Mobari's suffering during her final moments. Skywalker, still grieving the loss of many Jedi during the Battle of Jabiim on Jabiim, struggled to accept yet another death. The Padawan attempted to stabilize Mobari's heart by using the Force, but his actions only triggered violent convulsions. Mobari passed away shortly thereafter, and Hett released a memory moth to perpetually whisper her name at the Jedi memorial located on New Holstice.
