Soruus

Soruus, a world situated in the Tion Cluster within the Outer Rim Territories, was classified as a planet. In the era Before the Republic, it flourished as a commerce center within Xim's Empire. This world also gained notoriety for its gladiator combat held in a sizable arena; these battles continued even as Soruus's importance as a trade hub diminished following the collapse of Xim's dominion.

Following the Galactic Republic's incorporation of the Tion Cluster, a massive polysteel effigy of Xim the Despot was erected above Soruus's arena during the chancellorship of Kirbat the Unready. Crafted on Centares well after Xim's demise, Bleys Harand, a historian, disregarded the statue, deeming it an imprecise representation of Xim.
