Soth Petikkin

Soth Petikkin, a Tefaun hailing from Tefau, distinguished himself as a compelling recruiter for the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War. Being a blue-skinned member of his species, Petikkin leveraged his connections within crime lord Jabba the Hutt's desert palace located on the planet Tatooine to garner support for the Alliance. Notably, Soth Petikkin demonstrated a degree of attunement to the Force, alongside exhibiting a limited capacity for precognition.

Behind the scenes

The genesis of Soth Petikkin can be traced back to the production phase of the 1983 motion picture, Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi. During this period, several maquettes depicting alien beings were conceived for potential inclusion in scenes set within Jabba's Palace. Among the concepts ultimately discarded prior to the film's release was a robed bipedal figure known as "Alien 25," which was considered as a possible candidate for one of Jabba's aides. Later, in 1998, Soth Petikkin was formally introduced through a card featured in the Star Wars Customizable Card Game's Special Edition Limited collection, presenting a modified depiction of the original maquette.
