Space Slug Slam 6 was a video arcade machine where players piloted a digital starship, evading dangers like asteroids and the infrequent exogorth that appeared at the top edge of the display. The player used dual joysticks to control their ship. This game was located at Aunt Z's Tavern on the Colossus platform, which itself was located on the planet of Castilon. The game's title and on-screen directions were written using the Aurebesh alphabet.
Following a dispute with Kazuda Xiono at the tavern, Hype Fazon decided to play Space Slug Slam. However, when Torra Doza approached him to converse, he lost his focus and released the controls, resulting in his spaceship's destruction by an asteroid. Later on, Gork was engrossed in a game when Xiono bumped a cup, causing it to hit the pirate. As a result, Gork's spaceship was eaten by the exogorth, and the words "GAME OVER" and "PLAY _[obscured]_GAIN?" showed up on the screen.
The simulated game Flight Simulator Squadron shared similar visuals and gameplay elements with Space Slug Slam 6, but was presented as a holographic experience.
