The initial appearance of Gork was in the animated show Star Wars Resistance, specifically in the 2019 episode titled "No Escape: Part 2". Jonathan Lipow provides the voice for this character. His identification as Gork was first established in the credits of the episode "A Quick Salvage Run."
Originally, in "The Engineer", Kazuda Xiono was scripted to encounter Gork while probing the pirate energy theft; this scenario would have led to Synara San saving Xiono by knocking Gork unconscious.
