Sphere of Laws and Justice

The Sphere of Laws and Justice, which was also known as the Ministry of Laws and Justice or the Pyramid of Laws and Justice, served as one of the twelve Spheres of Influence within the re-established Sith Empire. Established in 4980 BBY, this Sphere was governed by a member of the Empire's powerful Dark Council and had authority over the Empire's domestic law enforcement and its system of justice.

History

During the period known as the Cold War between the Empire and the Galactic Republic, the Sith Lord known as Darth Mortis was in charge of the Sphere. While leading the Sphere, Mortis dispatched his apprentice, Zavrasha, to the moon of Nar Shaddaa to guarantee that the activities of the Imperial Military there would not jeopardize the Treaty of Coruscant that had been established with the Republic.

Following the Empire's loss to the Eternal Empire, Empress Darth Acina merged this sphere with the Sphere of Production and Logistics, creating the Sphere of Civil Administration.

Behind the scenes

The Star Wars: The Old Republic Encyclopedia, a reference book from 2012, was the first place the Sphere of Laws and Justice was mentioned, specifically in the section that covers the Spheres of Influence.
